The 1000 Race is part of the IMOCA Globe Series Championship, bringing together some of the biggest names in sailing on a 1,000-nautical-mile course in the Bay of Biscay. Aboard these 60-foot monohulls, also known as the Formula 1 of the seas, solo sailors will have to push their machines to stand out on this technical and demanding stretch of water.
